Nonstick Fry Pans are oven-safe up to 450F.
My son gave me both the 12″ and the 8″ Emeril frying pans. I use the small one for crepes. They have been perfect pans, and they are in constant use. I do not put them in the dishwasher, but nothing sticks to them, and it’s not necessary. I use wooden or plastic utensils with them, but there is not a single scratch in either pan, after 2 or 3 years. The finish is very nice. They wash easily with just a sponge or a dish rag. The weight is sturdy, but not too heavy. They are really the two nicest pans I have had and do have. I just ordered 2 more this morning, since they are on sale, and I want my kids to have them. I don’t know why people seem to have problems with them. They’re great!
Okay, but bad handle redesign – RK – North Carolina, USA
I’ve got several editions of these nonstick pans. I’ve had an 8″ and 10″ for about 2 years that I use a lot. They work quite well and I am careful never to use metal utensils with them. I just bought this 8″ and 12″ package deal and there has been a change in the handle design for the worse–it is thin and uncomfortable in the hand–which is kind of a drag, particularly when you’re handling a 12″ pan. I suspect it was a money issue because the new handle seems cheaper. Nonstick pans are only meant to last 2-5 years anyhow, so I am not too upset, but will probably buy a different brand next time.
Nice Pans, Great Value, Handles Lack Comfort – K. Balagna – Sedona, AZ
I am a long standing fan of All Clad and Emeril’s pans are no slouch. For the price, one can not find better quality. The performance of the pans is well above average. The only draw back are the handles; they are of a poor design and difficult to maneuver at first. However, I have grown accustomed to them and am very pleased with my purchase.
