Anolon Advanced 14-Inch Open French Skillet
The entire family’s main course will fit in this 14-in. pan. Use it for searing sea scallops, browning meat for Sloppy Joes or for cooking a scramble of eggs with ham and cheese. It features a DuPont Autograph 2 nonstick coating inside and out for lasting performance, superior durability and ease of cleaning. The extra-thick, hard anodized aluminum means fast, even heat distribution. The 18/10 stainless steel and silicone rubber handle is molded to fit your grip, is soft and cool to the touch even while on the stovetop and is riveted to the pan for maximum durability. Oven-safe to 400 degrees.
When I ordered this, I actually made a mistake. I wanted a 12-inch skillet. So when the product was delivered, I was overwhelmed by the size, as it was much bigger than I was expecting. I’m not a very good cook, so I thought I would never use this professional size pan. But I decided to keep it anyway as the price was good. Let me tell you, I’m so GLAD I did not return it. Recently I made quick pasta sauce with shrimps and pesto in this skillet, and oh my goodness, I was amazed at this pan! The 14-inch skillet not only cooked the sauce well but also it was big enough to mix the whole cooked 1-pound pasta in it easily! I also made a chicken dish, and this big skillet was big enough to saute several large cut chicken breasts all at once. The quality is excellent – heavy and heated evenly. I am extremely happy with this product. Now I’m motivated to cook more than before. One of the best buy I made recently. Highly recommended!
Good anti-stick pans for low fat fry – Open French Skillet – Giorgio PM – Texas, USA
Fast delivery.
Good product at good price (one of the best I found in US).
Unfortunately this product is not sold with a lid (but I am VERY satisfied also frying onions with VERY LITTLE oil).
Excellent service for items sold directly by Amazon.
But WARNING the service is not the same in the Marketplace (I had some bad experiences there, even if also good ones).
For longer lasting, I suggest to make a first clean (to hot pan) by wet paper (then normally wash when cold, better by hands).
If you deep-fry, remember to cover the whole pan surface and continuously stir.
Anolon 14″ skillet – C – Chicago
Skillet is a good weight. Padded handle and extra grip make for easy lifting. My one complaint is that usable bottom surface is only 10″,
labeling this a 14″ pan is somewhat deceiving. Sauteing four chicken cutlets
is a bit crowded. High sides are good for holding in a large quantity when
stirring.

Take care not to burn the pan as it is not recommended for greater than med-high heat. I used mine on high to stirfry and the nonstick coating changed color slightly. Nonstick coating is durable and works well, but not perfect. Also, be careful not to burn yourself on the metal portion of the handles on either side of the silicone.
